Just get in touch and we’ll arrange a time to come by and measure up your outdoor space and talk you through the range of products that fit what you’re looking for.

How long does it take to get a reply or basic estimate, what do I need to send you?

We aim to reply to all our enquiries within 2 working days. To help make our estimate a little more accurate, please include the width, and projection you would like, along with any specifics that are important to you; your roof, glass or polycarbonate? Wall mounted or freestanding? Any sides or doors? And please attach as many photos of the area you would like to have this installed (the wall and/or ground area) and e-mail this to [email protected] or send via WhatsApp to +447480859912.

How long does a site survey last?

Our site surveys can take anything from 45 minutes to 5 hours! Our customers happiness is our priority, so we will never rush you.

How long does an installation take?

Average installation time for an awning is 2-3 hours, a veranda is 1-2 days depending on the size, and our glass rooms usually take 3 days.

Can I see your products before deciding?

We’d be delighted to welcome you to visit our showroom at the Hollybush Garden centre in Wolverhampton, to view our range of awnings, fabrics, display models and our 24.5sq/m glass room! Alternatively, all of our sales team bring along a model display unit, polycarbonate samples, fabric and RAL charts for you to view and feel on our site visits.

How long does it take before you can install our veranda or glass room?

Our usual lead time is 4–6 weeks, excluding the holiday season. Every structure is manufactured to order against the measurements taken at your property, so lead time depends on the product and the complexity of your project. We will confirm your lead time at the point of enquiry and again when we accept your order.

Where are your verandas and glass rooms from?

Our Toscana range is manufactured in the UK, as is the glass used in all our roof systems. The Romagna range, and our Weinor awnings, are manufactured in Germany, and our other products are sourced from the Netherlands and wider Europe.

What glass do you use for the roof?

We believe in safety and quality, which is why we use 8.8mm laminate glass as standard in all glass roof systems, conforming to all industry guidelines. There is an option to upgrade to 10.8mm at the customer’s discretion, although this comes at an additional cost and is not often required. It may also reduce the span between posts due to the increased weight of the glass.

What materials do you use for your structures?

We use a very high-quality aluminium in all our verandas and glass rooms, providing strength, durability, and a premium look – which will last for many years to come!

What colours do you offer?

Our Weinor awnings can be finished in any of 145 RAL colours, including some exclusive to Weinor. Colours in the core range are included in your price; others carry an additional powder-coating charge. Whichever you choose, your frame is powder-coated to your selection as part of manufacture.

Can we add lighting?

Absolutely, we offer LED lighting as an optional extra in all our verandas and awnings. If you’re considering including LEDs, our recommendation is that it’s always best to get these done as part of the initial project.

What guarantees are included?

All our installations and products are warranty-backed. Further information can be found by clicking here or visiting our Terms and Conditions.

Who makes your awnings?

We are very proud to be an exclusive Weinor specialist dealer and UK partner. As the most premium awning manufacturer on the market, we only believe is selling quality that’s built to last.

Do I need planning permission?

Planning requirements vary between local authorities and depend on the size, height and position of your structure, as well as your property’s status. Listed buildings, conservation areas and Article 4 areas carry additional restrictions. We do not provide planning advice or contact the local authority on your behalf, so please check directly with your local planning authority before placing your order. Obtaining any necessary permissions is the customer’s responsibility.

Do you offer installation?

Yes, our installation teams boast over 70 years’ of combined industry experience and are all manufactured approved and vetted installation partners.

Do you offer delivery only options?

Yes, we can arrange for a kerb-side delivery only, please speak to one of our Sales Managers to find out more information.

What polycarbonate do you offer?

As standard we provide you with a very strong and durable 16mm triple wall polycarbonate in Clear or Opal (Opaque) as standard. We can also offer Bronze or Ultra-Clear as an upgrade option.

How can I contact you?

You can reach us by emailing our team at [email protected], by calling our office number 01902 212331, or by sending us a message on WhatsApp at 07480859912. Alternatively, you can always reach us on our live chat facility, or by visiting our showroom to meet our team in person.

How can I pay?

We accept bank transfers, cheques, cash, and credit/debit card payments. Please note we do not accept American Express.

What is your deposit?

Our deposit amount may vary, but as standard it is between 25% and 50%.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes — you have 48 hours from the moment we accept your order to cancel for any reason and receive a full refund of your deposit, with nothing deducted. We deliberately hold your order back and do not place it with our manufacturer until that window has closed, so cancelling within it costs you nothing. After 48 hours your deposit is no longer refundable, because your structure is being built to your property’s measurements and we have committed payment for it. Full details are on our Cancellations page.

When is our final payment due?

Your remaining balance, often between 50% and 75% of the total order value, is due within five days of the completion of your project.

Do you offer flooring?

Yes, we offer a range of composite decking solutions.

Why are you cheaper than the competition but claim to offer a high-level product?

We are a very lean operation and many of our facilities, such as our office and warehouse are shared with our group companies to keep our overheads low. We also don’t believe in overpricing or upselling – it’s just the way how we work.

Where is your showroom and what hours is it manned?

Our showroom is at the Hollybush Garden centre, Shareshill, Wolverhampton, WV10 7LX, just off the M6 motorway at Junction 11. A member of the Fleming team will be there Thursday to Monday, 9am – 5pm , 10-4pm on Sundays in season time – but we always recommend calling us before you intend to visit just to ensure we have someone there to meet you.

Do you do the electrical connection?

No, we do not offer any electrical connections for any of our products including the LED lighting, our louvered roofs, heaters, awnings or electric underblinds. We are not insured to carry out any electrical works on site, and this is not deemed as part of our scope of works or contract. We always recommend that you seek professional advice prior to your booking with an approved and licenced NAPIT or similar accredited body or electrician to ensure that the works can be done, or get the works carried out by them or another approved contractor.

Do you offer heating?

Yes, we offer the Weinor and Veito range of freestanding and wall mounted heaters, many of which are designed for the outdoors and are waterproof graded IP55.

What heaters should I get?

We recommend not using any open fire, gas or propane heating sources under your veranda, awning or within your glass room. Any electric heaters such as infrared heaters, should be positioned at a minimum of 350mm from any glass or polycarbonate sheet, as failure to do can result in product defects such as tension points being created due to the concentrated heat source, resulting in cracks, shattering or meting of the profiles.

When is your sale?

At Fleming Verandas we don’t believe in higher prices throughout the year just to lower them for a ‘sale’, we believe in a fair price for everyone, that’s why we offer all our customers our best price all year round.

How can I make a complaint?

We are sorry to hear you have had a problem and need to raise a complaint with us.

What is the difference between a veranda, a pergola, and a canopy?

Verandas and canopies are very similar, but they do have key differences. A veranda is a “lean-to” structure, always attached to a building, with a single-sloped roof. On the other hand, a canopy is a free-standing structure. Its roof can either be a mono-pitch design, with a single slope and gutter along one side, or an apex design, which features two slopes meeting at a high point in the middle, with gutters on both sides.

A pergola, which can be either attached to a building or stand alone, has a flat roof made of aluminum louvres. These louvres can be rotated to open or close, depending on the weather, and are operated either by an electric motor or a manual winding rod.
